		<description>I guess to me birthdays are a reason to get together with your friends and celebrate. It is more about thanking the person for being a great friend then being born. Very few people take time on a daily basis to tell the people in their life that they appreciate them, so birthdays are a time to do that. I agree that the gifts are uncalled for, I don&#039;t need things to know someone cares, but if they take the time to tell me happy birthday or go out for a few drinks and fun with me that means more.</description>
